Commercial Catering Equipment Testing
You may be happy with the functionality of your equipment and not require any formal servicing, however, do require your obligatory testing and compliance certificates.
As a specialist commercial kitchen service company, CaterKit can be flexible to provide you with your required catering equipment testing, such as Gas Safe gas certificates and electrical sign-off, whether as an annual inspection or following installation.
Our testing costs from just £260 + VAT and can include all gas, electrical and portable appliance (PAT) testing.
Inspection and testing of gas equipment including gas interlocks systems are recommended to be carried out at least annually. For portable electrical appliances, it is recommended to test every 1 – 5 years. For more heavy-duty equipment, it is recommended by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) to test every 5 years.
It is worth noting that some insurance companies will require an annual compliance inspection of all your equipment including a CP42 gas certificate. Please note we cannot test or repair any mobile catering equipment.
